Bobby Deol is playing himself in filmmaker Samir Karnik's 'Nanhe Jaisalmer'. The film is based on the relationship between Bobby Deol the actor and a small child with Jaisalmer as its backdrop.

The shooting for the film has already begun and Bobby will be joining the cast and crew from April 8th. It is going to be a quickie with a start-to-finish shoot of 36 days.

Director Samir Karnik had made his debut with the film Kyun...Ho Gaya Na. But unfortunately, the film flopped at the box-office in spite of having top stars Vivek and Ash.

Says Karnik, "I have known Bobby since Kareeb. I needed someone like him for the role. All I can say is that Nanhe Jaisalmer is a simple, entertaining film with a lot surprises in it."

Bobby Deol will also be doing a film along with father Dharmendra and brother Sunny Deol. The father and two sons will be seen together on screen for the first time in Anil Sharma's Apne. Bobby will also be doing a film with Suneel Darshan in the future.
