Actor Ali Fazal ,who was last seen in the Hollywood franchiseFast & Furious 7, has turned author. He will write a biography on his maternal grandfather, Ahmed Saeed, 89.

Ali revealed, "It's quite an elaborate task as it involves a lot of family history. It's his life journey - right from his days in Jhavai Tola (old Lucknow) before he married into a rich family of landlords (my grandmother's), his growing up years, expertise at wrestling and how he held our family together, amidst all the money disputes and property feuds. He was an average kid, who suddenly navigated into a royal family and yet he managed to lead a normal life."

Since the book risks exposing murky secrets of his family, we wondered if they know about it."The book is from my grandfather's perspective. The objective is not to piss off people. It's a peek into their lives. Besides, except for my grand-father's, other names will be changed," he states.
