Akshay Kumar is riding high this year with his successful stint on Box-Office. He is undoubtedly the most bankable star of Bollywood. If his 2017 was so successful he is going to rule Box-office in 2018 as well.


Akshay has already three big releases lined up for 2018. Starting with January Akshay's home production 'Padman' which is produced by Twinkle Khanna will release on Republic Day, 2018. 'Padman' is based on the real-life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist who revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins machine. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role along with Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. The film is written and directed by R.Balki.


Then in April, superstar Rajinikanth starrer '2.0' will hit the screens. The magnum opus SciFi action thriller which features Superstar Rajinikanth also stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Shankar and it is produced by Lyca Productions.


Then on Independence Day Akshay will again rule the Box-Office with 'Gold'. 'Gold' is about India's first Olympic medal win as a free nation in the year 1948 at Games of the XIV Olympiad, London. The film is being directed by Reema Kagti and it will also mark the Bollywood debut of Television actress Mouni Roy.
