Well... there is no denying the fact that King of Bollywood SRK is known for his transparency and his humility. And on top of it, SRK's life has always remained like an open book for all his die-hard fans.

But we guess there is some entity, which is not so convinced with SRK's humility and openness and that is none other than IT department.

If reports are something to go by then they suggest that SRK's farm house at Alibaugh, Deja vu Farms has provisionally been attached by IT department and a notice has been issued for SRK for allegedly committing a criminal offense by acquiring around 19,000 sq m of land for agricultural purpose, but instead constructing a farmhouse.

A report published in one of the news portals has revealed facts about "how the IT department took cognizance of its report on alleged violations committed by Shah Rukh Khan, his wife Gauri Khan and others in acquiring agricultural land and constructing a super-luxury bungalow".

Well, the nasty side of this entire tale is that in this regard a case has been registered under the Benami Property Transactions Act, and I-T Department had already issued a notice against the actor in December 2017. "But due to certain reasons, the entire process of the property attachment got got delayed and could only be completed in the first week of January 2018".

The Mumbai Income Tax Department has provisionally attached Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's luxurious farmhouse, Deja vu Farms, in Alibag area, and has issued a show-cause notice to the Bollywood superstar for allegedly committing a criminal offense by acquiring around 19,000 sq m land for agricultural purpose, but constructing a farmhouse instead.

Reports further suggest, that during the course of investigation I-T department recorded the statements of SRK's in-laws - Namita Chibbar and Savita Chibbar as they were allegedly used as the fake directors of Deja vu Farms.

It is also pertinent to mention here, that two more promoters who transferred all the shares to SRK and Gauri's name have also been summoned for questioning. The issue came to limelight when an activist from Alibaugh lodged a complaint against SRK and Gauri Khan for filing the forged papers to purchase the agricultural land.

As per the law, the attachment of the property can be done for a period of 90 days from the date of the issuance of the notice. The PBPT Act enables law enforcement officers to send accused for up to seven years of rigorous imprisonment and pay 25 per cent of the property's value.
