Diljit Dosanjh is currently on a promotional spree as the actor recently visited Sandeep Singh's hometown in Shahbad.

The actor got to meet Sandeep's parents who also gifted him his hockey stick which happens to be the same hockey stick which Sandeep used during the time he was paralyzed.

After encountering Sandeep Singh's parents, Diljit took to his social media sharing an emotional BTS video.

The 1 minute video showcases Sandeep's parents emotionally narrating the heartening story of their son's life journey.

Soorma will feature Diljit Dosanjh essaying the role of Sandeep Singh alongside Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi in the pivotal roles.

Produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions, Chitrangda Singh, and Deepak Singh, Soorma is written & directed by Shaad Ali and is slated to release on 13th July, 2018.
