Cast: Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee

Director: Amar Kaushik

Rating: ***

Based on a true phenomenon, 'Stree' is set in a small town Chanderi where it is believed that there was a beautiful woman and every man was awestruck by her beauty, but only one man had loved her truly. It is presumed that Chanderi is a haunted village where this mysterious woman stalks men during the festive season.

There comes Vicky (Rajkummar Rao), a kind-hearted man who is charmed by the mysterious girl (Shraddha Kapoor), who appears on during this festive period only. Vicky has two friends Bittu (Aparshakti Khurana) and Dana (Abhishek Banerjee), who are in search of some kind of 'friendship' with ladies.

Though there is a mystery in the film still you won't feel haunted as the film has a perfect blend of horror and comedy. The chemistry between Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor will surely leave you in awe.

Pankaj Tripathi as Rudra is the funniest character of the film. The funny one-liners will leave you in splits.

Rajkummar Rao, as usual, has won hearts and Shraddha has charmed everyone, not only in the film's story but with her performance too.

Though performances by all the characters are top-notch writing needed more attention.

Director Amar Kaushik has done a good job by holding all the characters together and beautifully blending the horror quotient with comedy.

Overall, the film has good entertainment quotient which is enjoyable in most of the parts. It could be better with some more attention.
