At the time of Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, the world saw the warm friendship between three extremely gifted actresses, Richa Chadha, Mrunal Thakur, and Freida Pinto. The bond that formed during the shooting of the film, Love Sonia, has stayed even months after that. Mrunal Thakur feels lucky to have Richa and Freida besides her as she is starting her journey into the Bollywood Industry. The girl gang stood as pillars of strength alongside their director, Tabrez Noorani throughout different International screenings of the film. They had a gala time with each other promoting the film in the global circuit. Love Sonia is the outrageous story of a young Indian village girl, Sonia whose life tumultuously changes when she and her sister gets thrown in the global sex trade market. Trying to save her sister, Preeti, the one person she is closest to, Sonia travels from India to Los Angeles.

The film has a strong ensemble cast including Freida Pinto, Manoj Bajpayee, Rajkummar Rao, Richa Chadha, Anupam Kher, Adil Hussain, Sai Tamhankar, Sunny Parwar, Demi Moore, Mark Duplass, Noorani is introducing Mrunal Thakur as well as Riya Sisodiya.

Tamasha Talkies and Samraaj Talkies in association with India Take One Productions, Cinemantra Entertainment and Media & Dynasty Consulting Group present Love Sonia. The film is Tabrez Noorani's directorial debut, produced by the Academy Award-nominated producer of Life of Pi, David Womark and Tabrez Noorani. Co-produced by Amar Butala and Executive Producers include Shalini Thackeray, Deepak Nayar, and Pravesh Sahni. The Dynasty Consulting Group was instrumental in setting up the movie. Zee Studios will release the film in India. Love Sonia releases on 14th September 2018.
