The multi-talented star Farhan Akhtar who is all set to unveil his first ever single on 7th September has been piquing the interests of the audience through his social media posts.

The first ever album of Farhan Akhtar is titled 'Echoes' and the first single to release on 7th September is 'Rearview Mirror'.

The star has been working on the 11 song album for the past 15 months and is extremely happy to be able to share the album with the audience.

Farhan Akhtar who made his acting as well as singing debut a decade ago has been an avid musician for years now. The multi-talented star has performed at multiple concerts over the years impressing the audience across quarters.

Divulging details about his maiden album, Farhan Akhtar shared, "It fills my heart with much happiness to share with you what I've been working on for the past 15 months. How something that started off as merely scribbling thoughts down onto pages evolved into consuming my need for creative expression is difficult to understand or explain. And now the time has come to hand these creations over to you, in the form of an 11 song album titled 'Echoes'. The first single 'Rearview Mirror' releases 7th Sept. Farhan Akhtar who often dons the various hats of director, producer, actor and singer has been currently taking on his rockstar avatar as he rocks the stage with the celebrated music composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for the #SELF tour in the US.

On the work front, Farhan Akhtar is currently basking in the glory of his recent production Gold and is also gearing up for his upcoming 'The Sky Is Pink' where the actor will be starring alongside Priyanka Chopra after Dil Dhadakne Do.
