The Shah Rukh Khan hi-tech thriller "Don" has been selected for the Berlin Film Festival being held in February.

Directed by Farhan Akhtar, the film will be shown in the international forum section.

"Don", a remake of 1970s hit of the same name starring Amitabh Bachchan, did brisk business in the overseas market. However, the German distributors held back its release there because they were hopeful of it being screened at the festival.
