Bhushan Kumar's T-Series along with Shankar Mahadevan and Berklee Indian Ensemble have come together to recreate the title track of Aamir Khan's 2001 film Dil Chahta Hai to raise funds for Indian artists affected by COVID-19. The new version features 112 artists from 21 countries and is in support of BIX COVID Fund. This initiative supports marginalized Indian artists whose livelihoods have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. T-Series will be donating all the proceeds from the song to the cause.

Speaking about the same, T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar says, `In a challenging time like this, it is our responsibility to overcome the obstacles and provide help to the needy. This initiative by Shankar Mahadevan, Berklee Indian Ensemble and T-Series is a step to help the artists whose livelihood has been affected. We look forward to entertaining the audience with our music and at the same time, help society by following the path of humanity.''

Along with Shankar Mahadevan and students from the Berklee Indian Ensemble, the video also feature several prominent faces from the Hindi entertainment industry like Farhan Akhtar, Salim Merchant, Benny Dayal, Neeti Mohan and Shalmali Kholgade.

As always, the entertainment industry has come together to aid the members of the fraternity and at the same time encouraged many others to do the same.
