The writer and Director 'Abhijit Das' on his International Lockdown Project - "Unlocked", a series of stories which breaks barriers. Geographically. Linguistically and psychologically. A set of 5 short films shot from home. Written and directed by Abhijit Das. With actors from across the world connected through these stories. In many cases, the actors and director haven't met each other ever. Each story leads to the other. Each story connects characters across continents. Actors from India, USA, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sweden and UK have been brought together to tell stories of the lockdown. To unlock a secret trapped in the lockdown. Actors like Smiriti Kalra, Jason Tham, Taha Khan, Niki Walia, Shahana Bajpai and many more are part of this experiment.

The pandemic has locked down the whole world. It's a World-War like situation, one which the current generations haven't ever experienced. For once, the whole world is in the same state. Locked down. Socially distanced. Scared. And hoping for a miracle. In these times, artists are on the forefront to keep that hope alive. To pass the message that we are one world. That it's a borderless world. Filmmaker Abhijit Das was in the news last time for his directorial hit Tv show Sanjivani 2019 featuring actors like Surbhi Chandna, Namit Khanna, Mohnish Bahl and Gurdeep Kohli. And now he awaiting the launch of his web show Kehne Ko Hai Humsafar season 3. Earlier this year Abhijit Das was selected as one of the 6 filmmakers from India by the US consulate for an exchange programme. He has also directed Josh presents Kar Sawaal which was documentary on Right to Information Act and also directed an award-winning short film Ambu featuring Smriti Kalra. He had recently also directed the much talked about Medically Yours starring Shantanu Maheshwari.On more news on his upcoming web show, Abhijit Das recently directed a teaser from home which included actors like Ronit Roy, Gurdeep Kohli and more. All the actors involved played their part in the teaser at home.
