KK Singh, the father of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput has now requested Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to order a Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) inquiry into Sushant's death and suicide case.

At present, Both Mumbai and Bihar police are conducting separate investigations into Sushant's death case. Recently ANI tweeted, `#SushantSinghRajput's father KK Singh speaks to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, requests him to order CBI investigation into the actor's death case.`

The DGP spoke to #SushantSinghRajput's father this morning and he gave consent for CBI inquiry. So now, we are recommending CBI probe in the matter: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to ANI

Earlier, in July, KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty under several allegations and sections of the Indian Penal Code including sections 306, 340, 342. Responding to which, Rhea filed a petition in the Supreme Court requesting the transfer of SSR's investigation case to Mumbai police. The Mumbai police have recorded the statements of more than 56 people so far.

Recently, Sushant's sister Shweta Singh shared a note on social media requesting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to order a full scan on his brother's investigation case.
