Shahrukh Khan's paternal grandfather, Meer Jan Muhammad Khan, was an ethnic Pashtun (Pathan) from Afghanistan and the actor feels proud of his lineage whenever talks about his forefathers. Now, after the gap of almost two years, the Baadshah of Bollywood is ready to be back with a bang with his next YRF untitled film. If the reports are to be believed then Shah Rukh Khan's film titled is 'Pathan' which will be helmed by Hrithik Roshan's 'WAR' director Siddharth Anand.
According to a report by Telly Chakkar, the script of Shah Rukh Khan's next actioner titled 'Pathan' will see him uniting with his 'Chennai Express' co-star Deepika Padukone. The film is almost ready to go on floors and the actor is also is in talks with the makers trying to manage the shooting schedules and timeline. The source in the report mentioned that producer Aditya Chopra is expected to announce the film on YRF 50th anniversary which is going to be celebrated next month.
On the work front, Shahrukh Khan was last seen in Anand L Rai's romantic-drama film 'Zero' (2018) with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Unfortunately, despite having Hollywood style VFX, the film boomed at the box-office. Meanwhile, SRK's fans are dying to watch him on the big screen although the actor is enjoying his quarantine with his family at his Mannat residence.
