'Sultan' fame Aditya Chopra is not only paving his way further in Industry with big lined-up projects with A-listers but is also focusing on presenting some low budget content-driven movies that are far different from his commercial films. Aditya, who has started the prep for his upcoming film based on the 1862's Maharaj Libel Case, has now added one more comedy-drama film in his eminent line-up.

It has been recently learned that the Yash Raj Production (YRF) has locked in Parineeti Chopra for its female-led drama to play the lead. The film is untitled yet and is said to be a light-hearted drama providing social commentary.

Parineeti was last seen in Prashant Singh's 'Jabariya Jodi' along with Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role. Talking about Parineeti's upcoming films, she will be seen in Dibakar Banerjee's 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' with his onscreen hero Arjun Kapoor. She has also been roped by Ribhu Dasgupta for its 'The Girl on the Train'.

Not only this, but Chopra has also decided to try a different genre this time as she will feature in Amole Gupte's 'Saina', a biographical sports film that is based on the life of Badminton player Saina Nehwal. Parineeti will be playing the role of 'Saina' in the film.
