Shah Rukh Khan is all gearing up to be back on the silver screen after a long gap of three years. The actor has bagged Siddharth Anand's actioner Pathan for which the actor has already started shooting at a studio in Mumbai. On Monday, Deepika Padukone joined him. `It's just a couple of days' stint now for Deepika, as she is also juggling Shakun Batra's next", revealed a media source.

Deepika who also plays a lead character in the film will reportedly be playing an agent. As per sources, the actress will be joining King Khan for a proper shoot in mid-December as the major portion of the film will be shot next year till June, some of the action scenes being filmed out of India. `It's an intriguing world of agents and Deepika will get to do a lot of action too. Though the title is SRK-centric, Deepika plays an edgy character, who joins Pathan on a mission. It's on the lines of what Katrina Kaif's Zoya was to Salman Khan's Tiger in the Tiger franchise.", revealed a source.

Well, Pathan would be Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan's fourth collaboration where both play action-packed agents and fans just can't keep calm to watch them on the big screen. Meanwhile, Deepika recently shot for Shakun Batra's untitled film opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday. They had all celebrated Diwali together and were back on sets soon after.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's upcoming film that is based on social immigration. Rumours were also doing the round that SRK has also bagged South director Atlee's upcoming flick.
