The highly-anticipated film of Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon starrer Bachchan Panday has finally gone on the floors on Wednesday. Although, Akshay Kumar hasn't joined the cast and crew in the city but soon he will kick-off the shoot. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, Kriti Sanon and other team members have shared the glimpses of Muhurat shoot on their respective social media handles. Kriti has recently recovered from the COVID-19 and started shooting for the film.

Kriti Sanon shared her make-up artist Adrian Jacobs Instagram story in which he posted the picture of the clapper board quoting Bachchan Panday. Adrian also tagged the actress and other make-up artists in the story. The film has kicked-off its first shooting schedule in Jaisalmer and the entire star cast has joined the rest of the crew members in the city. Check out her reshared story here -

In the film, Akshay will portray the role of a gangster who aspires to be an actor. On the other side, Kriti will helm the journalist role who wishes to be a director. Farhad Samji has roped Arshad Warsi who will play Akshay's friend in the film and as per the reports, the director has cast Jacqueline Fernandez to pair opposite him.

Farhad Samji's comedy film has a shooting schedule from January to March 2021 in Jaisalmer. The makers have also planned to shoot a few film scenes in places like Gadisar Lake and Jaisalkot. In the film, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi are sharing the screen for the first time. Bachchan Panday is expected to release at the end of 2021.
