Finally, after a long wait, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's baby girl has arrived. The cricketer himself shared the news via a social media statement and also requested everyone to respect their privacy at this time. Well, the entire Bollywood and fans are pouring their best wishes to the couple and their newborn baby girl. On Tuesday, a baby girl's picture went viral on social media which was shared by the cricketer's brother on the photo-sharing app. Several media sections misreported the picture as Virat and Anushka's baby girl. But now Vikas himself came forward and revealed that the image he posted was a random one. Along with the viral picture, many fans and media reports are suggesting that the couple named their daughter 'Anvi' but nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

Virat Kohli's brother Vikas Kohli shared a picture of newborn baby on Instagram. In the picture, the baby's little feet can be seen wrapped up in a white blanket. Vikas captioned the post, "Happiness overboard .... angel in the house." Fans reacted to his post and poured heartwarming wishes on the arrival of the newborn baby girl. On Monday afternoon, the couple welcomed a baby girl. Virat Kohli announces the delightful news on social media and penned a sweet note on the baby girl's arrival. The cricketer wrote, “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat."

The couple had announced the pregnancy in August 2020. They both shared a similar post and wrote, “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021 ❤️.” Well, Virat and Anushka tied the knot in Italy (2017) in the presence of close friends and family members.
