When actor Vicky Kaushal asked Rahman to describe his music using three emojis, the celebrated composer responded, “the one with the mouth closed.” He then added jokingly, “I think, in the past week, we have seen what happens when the mouth opens.” His witty comment left Kaushal and others at the event stunned, prompting Vicky Kaushal to remark, “Talk about roasting.”

Samay Raina Deletes Controversial Videos

Meanwhile, comedian Samay Raina recently took to Instagram to announce that he has removed all videos related to India’s Got Latent from his YouTube channel.

In his statement, Raina wrote, “Everything that has been happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly.”

Ranveer Allahbadia Issues Public Apology

Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia also issued a public apology regarding the controversy. In a video statement, he admitted, “My comment was not appropriate, was not even funny—comedy is not my forte. I am here just to say sorry. Many of you asked if this is how I use my platform; obviously, this is not how I wished to use it.”

He further stated, “I am not going to provide context, justification, or reasoning for what happened. I am simply offering an apology. I had a lapse in judgment, and it was not cool on my part.”

NCW Investigates the Controversy

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has announced plans to question Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and others involved in the India’s Got Latent controversy.
