The highly anticipated OTT series ‘Khakee’ is making a thrilling comeback with its new season. The trailer for ‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’ was officially unveiled on Tuesday in Kolkata, the cultural capital of India, creating an electrifying buzz among fans of crime dramas.

A Power-Packed Cast from Bengali Cinema


The event witnessed some of the finest talents from Bengali cinema coming together to deliver a compelling glimpse of the new season, which seamlessly blends politics, crime, heroism, and justice. Featuring an ensemble cast, the show stars Jeet, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Ritwik Bhowmik, Aadil Zafar Khan, Chitrangada Singh, Pooja Chopra, Aakanksha Singh, Mimoh Chakraborty, and Shraddha Das.

The latest season of the Netflix original is an intricate tale of political power plays, gang rivalries, and the police force. The action-packed trailer teases a gripping narrative filled with suspense, relentless action, and shocking twists.

Plot: A Battle for Justice Amidst Chaos


Set in early 2000s Kolkata, the story revolves around a time when gangsters and politicians wielded unchecked power. Amidst this turmoil, IPS officer Arjun Maitra (played by Jeet) emerges as a beacon of hope, determined to restore law and order in a city rife with corruption, gang wars, and political conspiracies.



Showrunner Neeraj Pandey on the New Season


At the trailer launch, showrunner Neeraj Pandey expressed his excitement about the upcoming season, saying:

“The world of ‘Khakee’ has always been about larger-than-life conflicts, high-stakes drama, and nuanced characters that blur the lines between good and evil. With ‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’, we elevate this intensity to a whole new level. He further praised the stellar ensemble cast, stating that their exceptional performances have taken the show’s narrative to greater heights. He also credited directors Tusshar Kanti Ray and Debatma Mandal for their dedication in bringing the series to life. “Filming extensively in Kolkata, it feels incredibly rewarding to unveil the trailer here and witness the audience’s enthusiasm,” he added.

Actor Ritwik Bhowmik, known for his romantic roles in Bandish Bandits, takes a bold leap in his career by portraying a gritty, intense character in this action-packed drama.
