Tisca Chopra is all set to appear on the silver screen in her next movie 'Firaaq' which is slated for release in January.

Firaaq is the debut directorial venture of the talented Nandita Das who has also co-written the script of the movie.

First Aamir Khan and now Nandita. Tisca sure seems to be the hot favorite of debutant directors. "I hope I'm lucky for them" quips the pretty lady.

Tisca plays an educated urban upper class woman in the film; contrary to her award winning role of a middle class housewife and mother in 'Taare Zameen Par'.

Tisca is all praises for her director. We hear that she had a great time working with Nandita.

Hmmm.... TZP was a superhit, and with the numerous international awards 'Firaaq' is clocking up, this film also has the looks of a winner.
