The unit of Anurag Basu's Kites seems to be on a globe trotting mission. After shooting in New Mexico, Los Angeles and Las Vegas and of course Mumbai, the latest shooting location for them has been Maldives.

Hrithik Roshan and his Hollywood actress Babara Mori along with the rest of the unit are in the beautiful island country for the last shooting schedule of their film.

It is learnt that Basu wants to shoot a romantic underwater song there as a Maldives beach will be a superb location for such a song which will show intense passion and love between Hrithik and Barbara. Also apart from this song Basu also intends to shoot a few underwater romantic scenes. The shoot is going to be just for 4 days.

This shoot was supposed to take place in February but it was pulled forward due to some technical reasons. After this shoot there will be only few scenes which will be done in Mumbai studios.

Kites also starring Kangana Ranuat is slated to release late in the summer of 2009.
