Rani Mukerji will next be seen in filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's "Aiyaa" along with Malayalam actor Prithviraj and the actress says it is a quirky love story.

"'Aiyaa' is an Anurag Kashyap production along with Viacom 18. Southern actor Prithviraj will star opposite me. It's a quirky love story. I am playing the role of a Maharashtrian girl and Prithviraj is playing the role of a south Indian boy. I am very excited. It's a very interesting film and I am looking forward to it, " said Rani.

"Aiyaa" not only marks the Bollywood debut of Prithviraj but will also be the maiden directorial venture in Bollywood of National Award winning Marathi film director Sachin Kundalkar.

The 33-year-old Rani was last seen as a TV journalist in "No One Killed Jessica", which was based on the 1999 Jessica Lall murder in Delhi. Apart from "Aiyaa", Rani is also shooting for Reema Kagti's untitled film with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
