Neena Gupta, who had been missing from the acting front in recent times, will be seen in Manish Tiwary's upcoming film starring Prateik and newcomer Amyra Dastur

The veteran actress was last seen in the TV show Dil Se Diya Vachan almost two year ago. On the big screen she featured in the Salman Khan-starrer Veer besides some forgettable projects.

Neena is essaying a mother figure to Amyra's character in the film.

Says Tiwary, `You don't have to discover her again. She's a fabulous actress. We approached her and I was lucky to have her in the cast.`

To add to her screen presence, Neena had special paan-stained dentures made for the film. `The story has a Benares setting and her character loves to eat paan. To make her teeth look stained, it was her idea to get dentures made to add to her persona.`

Neena, who is presently abroad, is slated to be back in Mumbai by the weekend.
