The makers of the animation film 'Mahabharat' are keen that Salman Khan do the voice over

Jayantilal Gada and his team is keen to have Salman Khan on board to give the voice-over for Lord Krishna's character in their upcoming animated version of the Mahabharat.

A source says, `The makers have had several brainstorming sessions about who is best fit for Krishna and they all agreed on one name -- Salman. He has the personality and the audience connects with his voice immediately. We wanted an A-list actor and Salman as Krishna would be ideal. Also, his tone has that authority so he is a perfect choice.

At the moment, the makers are working out the modalities to approach the star. B-Town actors who have lent their voices for the epic include Amitabh Bachchan as Bheeshma, Anil Kapoor as Karna and Vidya Balan as Draupadi. The animated characters also have the features of the actors they are representing. `In Salman's case too if he agrees to be part of the film, the character of Krishna will look like him,` the source says.
