What's the Hurry? Vaani not yet finalised for SRK's 'Fan'

Despite reports that newcomer Vaani Kapoor will feature opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the upcoming movie 'Fan', the makers of the film have said the actress has not been finalised yet.

Vaani had made her debut in Bollywood with Yash Raj Films 'Shuddh Desi Romance'. She was then seen in 'Aaha Kalyanam', the Tamil remake of Hindi hit film 'Band Baaja Baaraat'. There is a buzz that Vaani will feature opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 'Fan', to be produced by Yash Raj Films.

"The leading actress has not been finalised for 'Fan'," sources close to the development told PTI, without divulging any details.


Apparently, Parineeti Chopra and Anushka Sharma were also considered for this film. Shah Rukh, who himself has got a number of fans, is set to play role of a fan in the film which will be directed by 'Band Baaja Baarat' fame director Maneesh Sharma. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra and the shooting is likely to start from May.
