It was only the other day that Ayan Mukerji was out and about with his best friend, and avoiding the paps outside suburban nightspots.

Those days are certainly over for the filmmaker, who is back to the drawing board, working on his next script. Close associates revealed that so engrossed is Ayan with the writing that he has of late turned down several requests for night-outs and dinners, some even from RK, reports the Times of India.

Those who know him better say they would rather let him be, considering how easily distracted he gets. Let's hope there's another blockbuster in the making.
