As Esha Deol makes her television debut with MTV Roadies X2, she was high on energy and very enthusiastic for the MTV Roadies auditions. For the first time in the history of Roadies that there are 4 judges and all from various backgrounds. The interesting bit is all 4 judges namely, Esha Deol, Rannvijay Singh, Vijendra Singh and Karan Kundra have 1 thing in common - they are all Punjabi.

The twist to the story lies in the fact that Esha Deol, who is the daughter of superstar Dharmendra is a Punjabi. But she cannot speak the language. This whole thing revealed during one of the auditions, when judges were talking in Punjabi and Esha kept mum. Later on, she revealed that she does not know how to speak Punjabi.


During the auditions Esha Deol met a Punjabi contestant and was feeling uncomfortable while talking in Punjabi language. Being Dharam Paaji's daughter it was surprising for the other judges to know this fact.
